I like shooting an interview-based documentary only because stakeholder tells their stories. We hear their issues, and achievements from their mouth, it looks more authentic. Don't you think so?
The only issue is we don’t love looking at people’s faces for long. So we need to tell a story visually along with the interview bites.
Along with visuals, I am discovering that we can achieve so much through sound even in commisioned documentaries creatively. In the last project, We tried to record various sound of children doing different activity to create soundscape of the space in the film.
Hope people like it. My sound Recordist and Drummer Gaurav Kapadiya experimenting with sounds through rhythm games.
