Let’s Film!
3 Day Mobile Film Workshop
4-5-6 July
In the 3-day filmmaking workshop, participants will take their first steps into the exciting world of cinema. They will be introduced to the basic elements of filmmaking.
Each day will be a mix of learning and doing. We’ll watch powerful short films from around the world and explore how they were made.
Participants will work on creative exercises to develop their own story ideas.
On the second day, they’ll bring those ideas to life by shooting a short visual film.
On the third day, we will come together to edit the film and shape it into a complete piece of art.
This workshop is designed to spark imagination, build teamwork, and help participants experience the joy of telling stories through film.

Mentors
Janantik Shukla
Janantik Shukla is a student of cinema and literature. He works as a director, shooter and researcher. Janantik is a recipient of Masters in Film and TV direction from SCAD, Savannah, US. His debut mobile short film was nominated at Interfilm Short Film Festival, Berlin. His documentary films have run in film festival circuit. He has worked with clients like Aditya Birla, Google, World Wide Fund, Seva Mandir, Arch Vahini, ZDF TV, Democratic Party, NY and many others. He is also working in Mumbai film industry as second unit director and associate.
Pratiik Bhalawala Cinematographer
Pratiik Bhalawala is director of photography keenly interested in the visual
portrayal of metaphysical & aesthetic means of life, light, space, colors, and
beyond. He’s studied cinematography and film production at LV Prasad Film
and Television Academy, Chennai, and Toronto Film School, Canada. He has
worked on feature films, documentaries, and corporate videos. ‘Bey Ches Ne
Veth’ his debut feature film was featured in Kerala and Kolkata international
film festivals and currently doing festival rounds.
