Telling a story through Website

Building Rang Films’ website has been an exciting, confusing, and sometimes humbling experience. It’s like standing on a mountain peak, only to realize you’ve just climbed a small hill and the journey has only just begun.
While creating this site, I experienced all these emotions. My goal was to showcase our films, documentaries, and photography in a way that reflects our personal style. I reached out to a few website designers and friends, but their drafts didn’t feel right. So, I decided to explore templates on Wix, SiteInspire, Cargo, and others. I found Wix to be the most user-friendly and budget-friendly option, especially since I don’t know any coding.
I started with a blank template, added my photos, and linked my work. YouTube tutorials guided me through the design process, and several friends helped me along the way. Mihir Pathak Mihir Pathak gave me the initial push, Priti Patel helped me refine the graphics and fix font issues, Ketan Parmar helped me connect the Wix site to my domain. Mitesh Sushila kept pushing me for years to relaunch the website.
The site went live in a day, and the design process took about two weeks. ButIn total, it took more than two years to finally relaunch the site from thought to action.
